Acti#ity Ti!e
'his week we will %e doing ()y family*. We will introduce the $oca%ulary using
flashcards and make sure the students understand the concept. 'he class will
%e asked to %ring in photos of their families. )other and father, and si%lings if
they ha$e, and whate$er e"tended family they are close to. We will make a
family tree. +irst drawing it on the %oard e"plaining mother and father and
grandparents, then the self and si%lings, uncles and aunts and cousins. We
will see how far we can get during the week and how the class manages with
the new topic. We will perhaps first %ring in a photo of each student to put in
the middle of the family tree and e"plain from there. ! will %ring in a photo of
myself and use myself as an e"ample. ! will stick the picture on the %oard and
draw lines to my mother and father and si%lings, etc. 'hen get each student to
%ring a picture of themsel$es to stick up and e"plain their family tree.
