My Profile

Nicole Williams
My Autobiography
Hello, Im Nicole Williams. I have been working in Early Childhood
Education, since September of 2008. I began as a Teachers Aid and
worked my way to a Preschool Lead Teacher.
My experience working with children goes far beyond when I began
working in a center. In 2002 I was a Nanny for a family with three
child; an Infant, 2-year-old, and 3-year-old. I worked for them at 4
days a week for 5 years. In 2005 until 2008 I worked as a swim
instructor teaching children 6 months of age until age 12.
I completed my Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education, in
2013 from Reading Area Community College. Currently I am taking
classes from Ashford University to obtain my Bachelors Degree In Early
Childhood Education Administration.

Future Career Goals
To Complete my Bachelors Degree from Ashford in
September of 2016
After completing my degree from Ashford I hope
to obtain a position at a Child Care Center as a
Director.
I am also, interested in owning a child care
facility or a home-based child care.

Preferred Age Groups
During my previous experience at other locations I have worked in all
Classrooms from Infants to School-Age Children. I was third in-charge
of the Learning Center so I was not Assigned a classroom. I worked in
Each classroom throughout the day to cover other teachers whenever
needed.
My preferred classroom to work with has always been the preschool
classroom. From the age three to four years has been my favorite to
work with. During this age they are understanding that they are
learning and are experiencing so many things in the world for the first
time. The best thing about teaching this age is to see their face when
they realized they learned something for the first time, and how they
are so proud of themselves they learned something.
