PHILOSOPHY IN TEACHING

My teaching philosophy is based on the idea that every student enters the classroom with
strengths and talents, and that it is my responsibility to help them access and develop those skills.
My own personal motto is "We are already carrying everything we need," which simply implies
that we all possess the capacity to prosper and endure in our own manners.

This affects my perspective on education and how I teach. Students in my class must be able to
believe in their own skills and perceive themselves as capable and successful learners for me to
successfully implement this philosophy.

first want to ensure that every one of my students has a secure learning environment. Building
community and fostering trust are part of this. When they feel comfortable taking chances and
attempting novel concepts, students develop and push themselves.

As a teacher, I take deliberate steps to encourage engagement in all pupils through a variety of
means. This enables me to hear every student in a unique way and authentically validate their
ideas. Every day, during our morning meeting and routine, which includes a class wide greeting,
sharing with time for questions and comments, and journaling in conversation notebooks
between students and teachers, we work to strengthen our sense of community.

2
I am able to empower kids to become capable learners and problem solvers within the
community of peers and teachers by fusing these practices and objectives. This empowers
students to trust themselves and the classroom environment. Students can develop confidence in
their own skills and intelligence when they interact, establish a sense of trust and community,
acquire the subject in different ways, and connect across disciplines.

In spite of where their lives take them after my classroom, this equips them to become capable
adults in both their academic and extracurricular lives. All they need to do is access what they
already have with them.

My Idea of a Classroom for Grade School Students

My idea for a classroom as a future educator. I need to be a creative and positive learning
environment. A classroom with a nice layout of facilities learning and success. I will make my
expectations equally clear and the basis of the classroom will be built and mutual respect and
trust on each other. I also plan to make students feel as a though they are crucial factor in the
classroom unit as a whole.

I Learned
- As a future classroom manager, I learned that establishing a well-organized, anxiety free,
friendly & structured classroom leads the students to increase their learning, and also the
learning needs & cater their learning styles so that no students will be left behind.

I am excited about
- I am excite about decorating my own classroom meeting different kinds of students. I am also
excited about decorating my own classroom & meeting different kinds of students, and inspire
them to be a good human & be the best version of themselves.

I need to
- I need to study hard so that I can be a successful & effective teacher someday that my students
would love & respect. Teachers cannot expect to have an impact on intellectual development,
without becoming involved in their students emotional development as well.

8
I am very much concerned about
- As a future classroom manager, I am concerned about how I will manage to be a teacher who is
dealing with too many responsibilities all at once while still being a responsible & effective
teacher.

I am afraid
- I am afraid that I will have no time to deal with my own body function considering that
teachers must jump from one task to the next & are often forced to neglect their own bodies.

Oh, How I wish

- How I wish the time would speed up so that I can already graduate, pass the
board exam & start working as an official teacher who enjoys the job.

My Scaffolding Strategies

Grade Level: 5
Subject Area: Mathematics

In education, scaffolding is an instructional method teachers use to show student how to solve
problems. It involves offering students support as they need it. Teachers are able to scaffold
their students thinking by providing background knowledge, guidance, and prompts. This
allows students to solve problems on their own accomplishments. Teachers use scaffolding to
help students when they need it, but don’t give them so much help that they aren’t able to
figure things out on their own.
