Geometry Project
The interactive activity used was Shape Tool.
Shape Tool can be found here http://illuminations.nctm.org/Activity.aspx?id=3587
Performance Objective 1.6 Geometry and spatial reasoning
The student is expected to:
(A) describe and identify two-dimensional geometric figures, including circles, triangles,
rectangles, and squares.
This activity depicts different shapes that are reflected across the x- axis. This activity can be used in
my classroom after I have taught my students a lesson in which they identify and classify geometric
figures based on the shapes sides

Performance Objective 1.6 Geometry and spatial reasoning
The student is expected to:
(D) use concrete models to combine two-dimensional geometric figures to make new
geometric figures.
This activity can be used once my students have mastered how to identify two-dimensional
geometric-figures. They must combine the different shapes they have previously learned to identify
and create new geometric figures.
