Classroom Behavior...
Consistency is the key in learning and re-enforcing
positive classroom behavior. Together, the
children and I have come up with some classroom
rules that will ensure we are safe, sweet, and
smart. These rules include
!. "e a friend to your classmates
#. "e a good listener.
$. %eep hands and feet to yourself.
&. 'aise your hand to have a turn to talk.
(. )ollow the directions that teachers give
you. *This includes a "I+ variety of
situationsin line, sitting down,
lunchroom, etc.,
PLEASEcontinue to talk about these
rules at home and have your child
show you how they look. Also
check communication olders daily or

@ast week, we were Auite busy getting
used to our big school and all the new
routines and eBpectations of our
classroom community. I have already
seen so many improvements in listening
and following directions by your children.

child about what we do during our day
and what new things were talked about

well as favorite parts of the day and
school
rules.

paper to make it easier for you to write
any messages7Auestion7concerns to me.
Cou will still see a circle for each day and I
will mark the face that your child earned
for the day. The children and I talked
about earning happy faces today and
they understand that to go to the
treasure boB on )riday they have to earn
( happy faces. I have stressed that they
5/'4 their faces based on the choices
that they make.
