Position Title: Software Developer Issue Date: 04 September 2013
Duty Station: Colombo
Purpose: Under the general supervision of Chief of Operations, the consultant will be responsible for analyzing, developing and maintaining web based software systems of UNICEF Sri Lanka.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
! Develop new software systems as per the given specifications. ! Maintain existing systems by analysis and development of change requests ! Troubleshoot and rectify issues reported ! Develop comprehensive user guides
Minimum Qualifications & Experience
! A university degree or higher diploma in Information Technology ! Minimum two years (02) of experience in web based software development using Microsoft Technologies ! Minimum one year (01) working experience as a software developer/engineer using C#, ASP.NET, MS SQL (.NET Framework 3.5 or higher) Skills & Competencies
! Good communication and analytical skills ! Good understanding of object oriented concepts ! Strong skills in system development and web based technologies. ! Demonstrated behavior of professional and personal ethics. ! Demonstrated capacity to work both independently and as part of a team. ! Good judgment combined with a proactive and energetic approach to problem solving.
