Executive Secretary to the President/Superintendent
New Mexico Military Institute announces the vacancy of the full-time, 12- month position of Executive Secretary to the President/Superintendent. The Executive Secretary provides support to the President/Superintendent, the Executive Staff and as required to the Board of Regents. Proficiency in providing a high level of customer service in an executive level environment. Proficiency in use of Microsoft Office software, i.e., Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, Publisher, Adobe Acrobat, Adobe Contribute and Adobe Photoshop. Proficiency in oral and written communication with ability to exercise decision-making skills. Experience in analytical and problem solving skills and office administration and financial management experience. Experience working with sensitive information and maintaining confidentiality. Experience in electronic calendaring, meetings, conferences and travel. Experience in handling multiple projects or tasks and bookkeeping responsibilities. At least five (5) years of progressively responsible secretarial work including two (2) years of experience at the executive level of secretarial responsibilities preferred.
