ATTY. IMELDA MABANDOS-SCHNEIDER

Law Professor
Cor Jesu College

Dear Atty. Mabandos-Schneider:

Greetings of Peace!

This letter is written to humbly appeal for your consideration on my failed grade in
Constitutional Law 2. I was enrolled in your Constitutional Law class during the Second
Semester of SY 2013-2014.

Prior to my transfer to Cor Jesu College of Law, I already took up Constitutional Law in
Ateneo de Davao University. However, because of several factors, including but not limited to
easy access to friends, I found my Law studies in Davao City very difficult to manage.
Consequently, I have failed in Constitutional Law then.

Upon my transfer to Cor Jesu College of Law, I exerted diligent efforts to avoid the
failures I have committed in the past in order to realize my dream of becoming a good lawyer.

In your very enriching Constitutional Law class, I was able to pass all examinations with
the grades of 76, 77 and 83. I, however, would admit to my shortcomings in the oral recitations
and several seatworks I have missed. My deficiencies in oral recitations and seatworks were a
result of the unavoidable conflict between the schedule of my religious activities and the offering
of Constitutional Law 2 on Saturdays. Still, I thoroughly made sure that I would do well in
examinations.

At the end of one semester, I received a final grade of 71 in Constitutional Law 2. In this
regard, I would like to modestly request your good office to re-evaluate my academic
performance in your class. Should I fail to meet the passing mark, I am most respectfully
requesting for a chance, just one chance, to remove my failed grade.

I am sincerely praying for your consideration as I thank you for your time in entertaining
this letter.

Respectfully yours,

LADY JADE Q. CANADA
