CCSS RL1.3 Describe characters, settings,
and major events in a story using key details.

We use a Retell Rope to identify and describe a
storys setting, characters, problem, major events from
the beginning, middle, end, and the solution. Students
should be able to orally tell you about these story
elements.
This weeks basal story is Pig in a Wig
The genre is animal fantasy.

features of a sentence.

In this range, read and write numerals and represent a
number of objects with a written numeral.

numbers up to 20. This weeks focus is on multiples of 10.

CCSS: Operations and Algebraic Thinking

The first part of this standard helps the students
understand what an equation is (a number sentence).
