Can You Organize These Photos?
1. I will give you an envelope with pictures of various numbered organisms. Your
job is to make inferences and then organize the photos into categories.
2. Observe the photos and decide on three groups into which you can sort them.
3. Place each object into one of the groups, based on how the organisms features
and similarities. Make a chart below to naming your groups, and include what
organism went in each one.

4. Compare your grouping system with the group next to you. How did those
students group them? How was it similar or different from yours?
