Dear Community Leader:
Hello, my name is Cindy Trevino. I hope this letter finds you well. I am a Prosumer. That means I am PROactive in
my recovery and I PROactively give back to the community. I am writing to you because we are asking for
monetary sponsors and selling advertisements in our brochure for the most powerful, amazing, live fundraiser
concert to promote mental health wellness here in San Antonio, Texas. Prosumers are people who gather in the
community and are empowered by the words, Recovery is Possible.
The concert is October 17, 2014 and is being held at the County Line on IH 10W, San Antonio, Texas. Local
musicians and singers write and perform songs with positive I statements to create a recording which can alter the
negative thinking patterns of the people who sing them to provide moral or spiritual elevating; inspiring happiness
and hope.

Prosumers hold two meetings in San Antonio and one in Houston every month. People come to our meetings to
connect with others and share their lives in meaningful, positive ways. We share lunch, and then have a peer
leader demonstrate tools that we can use in our daily lives to empower us to move forward. Many Prosumers go
back to school, volunteer, and even return to work, but mostly, they live productive fulfilled lives. We offer hope.
We have volunteer community meetings at Methodist Healthcare every Tuesday to plan volunteer activities, social
outings, peer support and more. Our organization is growing, and through your support, we will reach out to
anyone wanting to feel empowered and enter recovery. With our dedicated staff, Certified Peer Providers, no one
needs to feel alone.
So far, we are generously being sponsored by Methodist Healthcare, Americus Diamond, Southwest Airlines,
Schlitterbaun, Spurs and many more. Your sponsorship will be used to help cover the cost of the concert, as well
as funding for future meetings and community events. Our brochure goes to print September 30, 2014. Since we
have limited spaces, we are requesting that a response from you be given by Wednesday, September 17, and
advertisements be submitted no later than September 22, 2014. Payment must be received by the September 30,
2014 deadline
