    What does it mean to ROB ?

    Restate the Question !
    Opinion you have of the answer goes next!
    Back up your opinion with a fact from the text.

    EXPLAIN how your opinion and backup answer
    the question to your reader.
    What Does That Look Like ?
    Question Why did the girl act so happy in the story?

    Restate The girl acted happy in the story in a few
    ways.
    Opinion The first way was that she was happy
    because she did well on her test.
    Backup According to the text, she scored a 4 on her
    ELA exam.
    Explain - This shows that the girl was pleased because
    of how she did on the exam.
