Mock Interview Reflection

Directions: Review the Mock Interview Critique Form completed by your teacher. Use the
results to reflect on your experience by answering the questions below.

1. What steps did you take to prepare for the mock interview?

Researched the job and practiced common interview questions.

2. How did you feel while you were being interviewed?

I felt like it was pretty easy and I was not too nervous.

3. Reflect on your actual responses. Did you feel your responses were adequate or could you
have done better? Explain.

I could have done better on some questions. Sometimes I did not give the best answer.

4. What questions do you feel you answered well? Explain.

I thought I answered my strengths well because I saw this was a question they would
probably ask me.

5. What questions do you feel you could have answered better? How would you have
answered them differently?

How I respond to criticism. I need to come up with a better answer, I didn’t really have one.

6. What areas did your teacher mark as strengths?

My teacher said I was good at giving my strengths.

7. What areas did your teacher mark as needing improvement? In what ways do you plan to
improve your performance in these areas?

My teacher said I need to do a better job of making sure I understand how I fit the job.
