The assessment in which I had the best performance was
FA 2 in second quarter. This FA was about translating phrases into algebraic expression. An algebraic expression is made up of variables and constants along with its operations. I find it interesting because it has the ability to come up with multiple different outcomes. I chose this FA because this was one of my best FA scores in the second quarter.
2. I prepared for this assessment by practicing the notes and
the modules that were given by our teacher. I used the notes that I took during class and corrected the common errors I usually had. Through this, I was able to fix my weakness and ace the test.
The good practice that I recall doing was going over the lesson once or twice a day so that my memory retention will be sharpened and my brain will have energy when answering the questions.
3. During the assessment, I thought about the mistakes I
previously committed to avoid making them again. Aside from that, I also cleared my brain from other subjects and focused it on the assessment alone. The test-taking techniques that I used were examining and answering the questions properly, relaxing, and reviewing the questions and answers I made.
4. When I received the results, I was overjoyed because all
my efforts were justified. I also felt accomplished, as I put in a lot of effort before and during the test.
5. The assessment motivates me because I realized that if I
continuously practiced, reviewed, and had the right attitude, I would be able to attain high scores. I also realized that studying way before the assessment can help with my problem-solving skills and can make me feel relaxed during the exam as I practice and study the concepts. Challenges like these allow me to learn and improve, giving me a sense of motivation and inspiration to do better than before.
