Principal's Message

What has been happening at DBF?

Wee ejoed a faulous first ouple of eeks to herald the start of our iaugural ear.

It has been a real joy for me to see how happily our students have come into school, accompanied by
happy parents.

I er proud of staff for orkig so hard to esure parets eperiee a o-going positive
ustoer joure. Its hard to iagie a paret haig a friedlier eloe tha the one given at
DBF. Our most cheerful Receptionist, Bruna, Nurse Rachel and myself genuinely look forward to greeting
every child and parent as they arrive at school each morning.

I can see that my whole staff team respect our parents and delight in meeting and interacting with all of
our children.

As each day progresses, the smiles on the faces of the children, is convincing evidence that my staff are
doing a good job.

Many years of experience has taught me that good Early Years teachers understand the importance of
play. As I see staff engage with children through play, I note that they are making important
assessets of the hildres learig, hilst gaiig the hildres trust ad affetio.

Positive relationships are definitely beginning to flourish between children and staff and staff and
parents, creating a lovely atmosphere throughout the school.
Sincere thanks to all those who have worked incredibly hard over many months to design, build, furnish
and resource our fabulous school.
