As the Chairman of Rainbow English School, I extend my warmest

greetings to all of you. It is with great pride and enthusiasm that I
address you all, reflecting on our shared journey of growth,
achievement and progress.

Life is like a journey and it is all about learning...... which starts from
the first tread into the larger world where a child prepares to combat
the challenges of gigantic world. Success as we know is not a mere
destination but a journey. The road to success is not always smooth.
It is often marked by setbacks, obstacles and failures. It is these
challenges that truly define our character and shape our journey.It is
in the moments of adversity that we learn valuable lessons, gain
resilience and grow as individuals.

We, here at Rainbow English School try to mould the character and
mental ability of our children, instil basic principles of life in them
and nurture their individual capabilities to the fullest. We believe in
fostering an atmosphere that value curiosity, creativity, and the joy

I feel elated , and a sense of pride to share with you the latest edition of our
news letter “VIBGYOR” . The academic year 2022-23 witnessed outstanding
academic results, remarkable achievements and some well organised events
and activities.

The school has completed its 40 successful years and over these years it has
provided ample opportunities to the students to explore and grow through
situations that could provide them scope to identify their strength and
reinforce them. I feel extremely honoured to be part of this magnificent
school which empowers the children to explore beyond the textbooks and
become lifelong learners.

I strongly believe in holistic education for our students which includes -
academics, co-curricular activities , sports education and life skills learning .
We sincerely and diligently prepare each child for today's cut throat
competition so that they can make a mark for themselves in all spheres of life.
‘ Honest Labour Pays’ is what we believe in. We teach our students to be
honest in their endeavours in order to reach their goals and get success. As a
Principal of the school, I always emphasize on building the best environment
for the children which is safe and inductive to learning.

the activities and achievements of Rainbowites. The reflection of teachers and
students’ creativity is the epitome of the magazine. We , at Rainbow, ensure
that talent and ability of each child is nurtured so that they can touch the

I would like to acknowledge the hard work and dedication of our competent
faculty in all our endeavors . The selfless service of the members of our staff

have enabled us to achieve what we are today. We have overcome hurdles,

Rainbow School, grow day by day with the conviction to provide holistic growth to
our children. Hence, our students are offered a wide range of clubs, Inter-Class
activities, Inter-House activities, sports and a large variety of visual and performing
art ventures where our students can participate in. We organise many co-curricular,
extra- curricular activities for the students at District, State and National level so
that they make persistent efforts and excel in every field of learning. The students

We, at Rainbow, strongly believe that every child is unique and therefore, we focus
on empowering our students and highlighting their leadership skills by providing
them a platform to enhance different attributes like communication skills, team
building and collaborative work.

To foster a spirit of healthy competition, as well as to awaken a spirit of self-

reliance and responsibility, Chakshu House conducted plethora of activities.

The House excelled in almost all spheres and the students, with the support of
their house teachers put in their maximum efforts. Hard work, perseverance,
honesty and passion are the key elements behind the activities conducted by this
house.

Orange colour of our House is associated with joy, creativity, confidence, warmth,
optimism, energy, strength, passion and determination.Participating in various
Inter-House competitions not only gave the students an opportunity to display
their talent but also helped them to learn valuable lessons on team work and
selfless deeds.

The House successfully conducted events like Teachers day, Janamashtami and
G20 Quiz.The teachers and students of our house worked diligently and whole-
heartedly in cooperative manner to bring success to our house.

I , Trisha Yadav would like to express my sincere gratitude towards our school
management and our principal, Mr Sourabh Kashyap and the teachers for giving me
the opportunity to be the school captain of Rainbow English Senior Secondary School.
As we all know, school is the second home of young minds where they spend few hours
daily with their fellow mates and learn under the guidance of teachers, it's parents’
dream that their children have access to the best quality education for personal and
professional growth. My belief is that a true leader should first and formost create a
work environment where the importance of teamwork is revered. He/She is the one
who needs to instill the fact in team members that no one is smarter than all of us,

April 4, 2022, marked a pivotal juncture in my life, the day when I embarked on a journey
to the realm of academia with the most prestigious Rainbow English Sr. Sec. School. I
firmly believe that schools foster the values and guide us for lifelong growth. The lessons
we engross in school endure over the years. As time passed, I evolved into a dedicated
student, driven by a strong passion for our school. I am indebted to the school
management for recognizing my potential for the role of the Head Boy. It’s quite
apparent that the school has been successful in shaping us into caring and youthful
students who will definitely uphold the school’s motto – “Honest Labour Pays”. The
school provided me with numerous chances to refine my abilities and talents. It also

Atal Tinkering Lab is a national level programme conducted by National Institution for
Transforming India (NITI Aayog) – the premier policy ‘Think Tank’ of the Government of
India. Following the guidelines of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 that
included all the tech-related features focusing on artificial intelligence the most,
Rainbow English Sr Sec School has included AI in the ATL curriculum. This new initiative

PLANTATION DRIVE
A Plantation Drive was conducted to raise
awareness about the conservation of forest and
sensitize the students to improve environmental
conditions. School Principal Mr. Sourabh Kashyap
planted a sapling and urged the students to grow
more and more trees and save the environment as
life is not possible without trees.

EARTH DAY
“Earth rejoices our words, breathing and peaceful steps. Let every
breath, every word and every step make the mother earth proud of
us.” Rainbowites celebrated Earth Day by engaging themselves in
various activities such as Hand prints, Headgears, Best out of
Waste from plastic- Pen Stand, Globe on ball. In addition to taking
the steps towards more sustainable living, Poster making and
Slogan Writing competitions on different topics were organized by
the Eco Club of the school.This competition was organised to
promote ecofriendly product to spread awareness and encourage
people to switch onto eco-friendly products like bamboo brush, jute
bag, paper wrapping etc. to show our commitment to a greener
future. A special assembly was also conducted by Eco Club
students to spread the message to save Mother Earth.

SWACHHTA HI SEWA
Our School organised ‘Swachhta hi Sewa’ cleanliness
awareness campaign guided by School Chairman Dr. J.
R. Kashyap. Dr. Kashyap along with students and staff
actively participated in cleaning the school campus
and its surroundings, conveying the message of
maintaining a clean environment.

It's a moment of pride that our school got 5th rank out of
194 schools on the basis of impact report submitted
under plastic pollution and challenge activities of Tide
Turners Plastic Challenge 2023. Our school was one of the
top 30 schools to attend the puppet workshop and got
certificate and badge as a champion school for the same.

The puppet show presented during award event in front

of the dignitaries from DOE and UNEP was recognized and
appreciated by all.
School students actively participated and completed all
the 3 levels by conducting various activities. Here are the
glimpse of activities
 USO
Young Scientist Challenge
USO had organised "young scientist challenge" 2023 for classes, VI - X in
collaboration with UNESCO and CSIR.
Under this challenge students had to submit their sustainable and scientific ideas
on the basis of SDG's goals. It was conducted under 3 phases. The first phase was
conducted at school level, 15 students had submitted their entries, out of them
the 3 best entries were sent to the organisations for the evaluation for phase 2. In
phase 3, the organisations selected the best idea from all the students
collectively. They had selected a total of 18 students, nationally, to submit their
videos on the ideas.
From our school Arunangshu Lochav of class 6 had that privilege and bagged the
3rd position nationally.
He was awarded with a certificate, trophy, and a pendrive (64GB). The students
were awarded with a participation certificate. The best 3 entries:
1) Arunangshu (VI)
2) Shaurya Sinha (VIII)
3) Kumar Pranav (X)
were felicitated with a certificate and a 64 Gb pendrive.
The Mentors Mr. Vijay Gupta and Ms. Sunaina Arora were also appreciated with a
certificate and a pen drive.
Our school has also been appreciated for the successful conduction of the USO
test and for achieving the milestones.

NATIONAL TEST

USO announced the result of National Test 2023, spanning

classes 1st to 12th that was conducted in August. A substantial
number of students participated, and have been awarded with
certificates for their commendable efforts. Special recognition
was given to the students who exhibited outstanding
performance, secured 90% and earned national positions and
brought laurels to the school. Merit holders achieving the 90%
benchmark received certificates and medals which
acknowledged their exceptional accomplishments.
Furthermore, Four National Winners were awarded with
certificates, medals, and stylish backpacks which applauded
their remarkable achievements on a broader scale.
 NATIONAL CADET
CORPS (NCC)

National Cadet Corps is a Tri-Services Organisation, comprising the Army, Navy

and Air Wing, engaged in grooming the youth of the country into disciplined and
patriotic citizens.
The Cadets are given basic military training in small arms and drill. The NCC is a
responsive, learning and continuously evolving organization. It encourages cadets
to have a sense of patriotic commitment, to contribute to national development,
respect for diversities in religion, language, culture, ethnicity, life style and
habitat. The NCC provides opportunities to the youth of the country for their all-
round development with a sense of Duty, Commitment, Dedication, Discipline and
Moral Values so that they become able leaders and useful citizens. The NCC
provides exposure to the cadets through a wide range of activities, with a distinct
emphasis on Social Services, Discipline and Adventure Training.

Like a bird in the sky, our talented students keep flying, never
stopping, always reaching new heights of achievement. Prince
and Niharika achieved a momentous victory at the State Level
Science Exhibition, held at Sarvodya Vidyalay, Saraswati Vihar
from January 31 to February 2. They got second position with
their stellar project under the sub-theme of Agriculture. Their
exhibit served as our students' commitments to nurturing
young minds for impactful contributions in various fields. Our
students and their guide teacher, Ms. Garima were awarded with
a sparkling trophy, certificates and medals. They will now
participate and represent Delhi at National Level Science
Exhibition. Kudos to our talented students and guide teacher for
