CAM: CUT TO WS OF THE TWO MEN STANDING IN THE GARAGE FROM THE POV
OF THE STREET. AT END OF DIALOGUE, THE TWO HIGH FIVE.


CAM: MEN GRAB TWO BAGS OUT OF THE TRUNK OF THE CAR. CUT TO A WS OF THE
STREET IN THE DARK, ONLY LIT BY STREETLIGHTS. THE TWO BEGIN RUNNING
AROUND POURING BROKEN GLASS AND NAILS ON THE ROAD.

CAM: CUT TO ORIGINAL SHOT OF GARAGE AND CAR, BUT IN MORNING LIGHT.
MOM KIDS WEARING BACKPACKS ALL SCRAMBLE INTO THE CAR AND THEN THE
CAR BEGINS TO PULL OUT.


CAM: WS OF CAR GOING DOWN STREET. ANGRY NEIGHBORS ON THE STREET ARE
JACKING UP THEIR CARS, LYING ON THE GROUND TRYING TO PUT ON SPARES ON
THE SIDE OF THE ROAD. THEN THE MOMS CAR GETS A VISIBLY FLAT TIRE AND SHE
PULLS OVER.


CAM: CUT TO CLOSE UP OF MOM GRABBING THE ROUND FROM THE CAR,
PLUGGING IT IN TO THE CIGARETTE LIGHTER AND THE FLAT TIRE.
CAM: SPIN WHEEL TRANSITION TO ARIAL WS OF STREET. NEIGHBORS ARE STILL
WORKING ON THEIR CARS AS THE MOMS CAR DRIVES OFF.






AUDIO

SFX:
CAR GROWS LOUDER AS IT GETS CLOSER, THEN ENGINE NOISE STOPS. SOUNDS OF CAR
DOORS OPENING AND KIDS TALKING, THEN CAR DOORS SLAMMING. DOOR TO THE
HOUSE SLAMS.


SFX: TRUNK POPS.



(SPARE TIRE): This is it jack. No more being cooped up in the trunk. Tomorrow is our day. Lets do
this.


(SPARE TIRE AND JACK): [Incoherent, slightly maniacal laughter echoes in the empty night street.]



SFX: BIRDS CHIRPING FROM OUTSIDE.




MUSIC): I Get Around by the Beach boys comes in quietly, starting at beginning of the song.
(MALE VO): Life has a habit of throwing things in your path when you least expect it. Round from
Bridgestone is here to throw it back. Just plug it into the cigarette lighter of almost any car and attach
to the air nozzle of the tire. Round does the rest.

CAM: CU OF A YOUNG WOMAN GETTING OUT OF THE CAR IN THE GARAGE. SHE IS
WEARING A BUSINESS SUIT AND SHE LOOKS TIRED.

CAM: CUT TO A MS BEHIND THE WOMAN AS SHE OPENS THE DOOR INTO HER HOME
FROM THE GARAGE. LIGHT FLOODS THE SHOT FROM INSIDE THE HOME AS SHE OPENS
THE DOOR.

CAM: CUT TO A CU OF THE WOMANS FACE. SHE HAS AND OPEN-MOUTHED LOOK OF
AWE AND CONFUSION.

CAM: CUT TO CU OF HUSBANDS FACE AND TORSO AS HE SITS ON A RECLINER WHICH
IS MOVING DOWN THE HALLWAY CONVEYOR BELT TOWARD HIS WIFE. THE HUSBAND
PUSHES A BUTTON ON A REMOTE AND THE CONVEYOR BELT STOPS.

CAM:CUTS TO CU OF WIFES STILL MOTIONLESS FACE,

SFX: DOOR CREAKS AS THE WOMAN OPENS IT. INSIDE THE HOUSE THERE IS A LOW
HUM OF MACHINERY AND MOVING FACTORY BELTS.









SFX: BUTTON BEEPS AND THE SOUND OF MACHINERY AND BELTS STOPS. THE ROOM IS
SILENT.


(WOMAN): [APPREHENSIVE AND UPSET]

Homeland Security Deputy Director of Training to discuss important issues which
impact leading a large government bureau

What: The fourth installment of Medaille Colleges Homeland Security
Lecture Series will focus on the various challenges facing Homeland
Security as they defend the American home front.
Topics will include the challenges of leadership and working with
local and state organizations during a crisis, and the challenge of
protecting data from cyber attacks. The lecture may be of particular
interest to law enforcement, local and state officials, and others.
Medaille College offers a two-year, online Bachelors of Science
Degree in Homeland Security.

Respond
Erie County Sherriffs Office Chief of Special Services to Lecture On Ties Between Federal and
Local Emergency Response

What: Medaille Colleges Homeland Security Lecture Series will hold its fifth
and final lecture. In light of recent disasters such as Superstorm Sandy,
the lecture will discuss the connections between federal government
assets such as FEMA, and local and state agency disaster response.
Topics will include emergency and disaster response procedures, and
operating procedures such as Incident Command System and National
Incident Management System. This lecture may be of interest to
emergency response personnel such as firefighters, police officers, and
EMS.
Medaille College offers a two-year, online Bachelors of Science Degree
in Homeland Security.
