INSTRUCTION

This project is quite complicated, requiring good crocheting skills.

The outfit is crocheted in continuous rounds and back-and-forth in rows.
The whole outfit is made with a hook 2mm, a hook 1mm is used only to decorate the shoes.

Important: This outfit is designed for a doll of my design, it is made exactly to her figure.
The doll and the jumpsuit must be worked with yarn of the same thickness.

If you use materials mentioned above, you will get result in a jumpsuit 21,5 cm ( 8,5 in) long.

NOTE#3 How clean fastening off does:

Connect the ring of dc with sl st. Cut the yarn not very short. Then insert the hook back into the
same hole and pull the tail through the loop, tighten. Insert the hook into the same hole on the
wrong side and pull the tail through it to the wrong side.

JUMPSUIT

Milk yarn

SLEEVES (Make 2):

Make chain of 18, connect to the ring with sl st, then

R1: ch, 17sc (18 sts)
R2: 18sc (18 sts)
R3-15 (13 rounds): sc around (18 sts)
Make sl st more and cut the yarn.

PANT LEGS (Make 2):

Make chain of 24, connect to the ring with sl st.

R1: ch, 23sc (24 sts)
R2: 24sc (24 sts)
R3-23 (21 rounds): sc around (24 sts)

For one pant leg make sl st more

and cut the yarn.

5
Connect the two pant legs with 5 sc.
Then start counting the 24th round, it is better to mark
it with a piece of contrasting thread.
Work 19sc of the right pant leg, make 1sc in
the outermost stitch of the connecting seam,
work 19sc of the left pant leg,
and 1sc again into the connecting seam.

R24: (19sc, 1sc in seam ) X 2 (40 sts)

R25-41 (17 rounds): sc around (40 sts)

6
Work 12 sc more to reach the sleeve attachment point. You may need less or more sc to do
this - it depends on your yarn - check for yourself.
Attach the sleeve to the jumpsuit with 4 sc - the last stitch of the sleeve should be in the
middle of the seam, then work 15sc of the back, then join the second sleeve and work 17sc of
the front. Counting 42 rounds begins with the attaching of 1st sleeve.
R42: 14sc (sleeve), 15sc, 14sc (sleeve), 17sc (60 sts)
R43: 59sc, sl st (60 sts) Cut the yarn off.

Next on the jumpsuit there is a cut and you can't work in a rounds.
In order not to disturb the even crochet pattern, I decided to start each row with new yarn and
cut off at the end. But it is important when crochet the beginning of a row to hide the
beginning tail of yarn in the first few stitches, and to hide the finishing tail of yarn in the last
few stitches of the next row.
Tie in the new thread on the 9th stitch of the front and make 2 ch very tight. Next in the
process, don't forget to hide this thread in the first stitches!
R44: 2ch, 58sc (60 sts) Cut the yarn off.

7
Attach a new yarn (to the previous 2nd ch).
R45: 2ch, 6sc, dec, 12sc, dec, 13sc, dec, 12sc, dec, (hide previous yarn) 7sc (56 sts) Cut the yarn
off. Attach a new yarn.
R46: 2ch, 5sc, dec, 12sc, dec, 11sc, dec, 12sc, dec, (hide previous yarn) 6sc (52 sts) Cut the yarn

Leave long tail for stitching.

Sew the 2 halves of the hood together.

Hide the rest of the yarn into the seam with a needle.

9
Now tie the new yarn into the bottom middle stitch of the cut. Crochet tightly the edge of
the hood with sc. I got 80 sc.
Attach a new yarn to the bottom of the sleeve, make 3ch and work the edge with 17 dc,
connect with sl st.
Do the same for the second sleeve and the pant legs. Make clean fastening off.
The edge of the hood is corrugated. You can gently wet the edge, straighten it and let it dry.

10
POCKET:
The pocket is worked back-and-forth in rows.

Leave the long tail of the starting yarn for sewing.

Turn left and work the edge 47 sc in a round.

Leave the long tail for sewing,
make clean fastening off.

Place the pocket onto the jumpsuit ~ 3 rounds from the bottom, pin and sew.

Do 2 sl st more and cut the yarn.

Make clean fastening off and hide the tail.

12
MANE
Yellow-blue-violet yarn

Make chain of 25; and work 1st hair strand: 21ch, sl st in 2nd ch from the hook, 19sc, sl st.
Then do 2nd hair strand in the same way: 21ch, ......., sl st in the same loop as the 1st hair strand.
3rd hair strand: 25ch, ........, sl st in next loop.
4th hair strand: 25ch, ........, sl st in the same loop.
And then in the same way in each loop of 2 hair strands:
1 loop: 21ch... X 2
2 loop: 25ch... X 2
3 loop: 29ch... X 2
4 loop: 31ch... X 2
5 loop: 35ch... X 2
6 loop: 37ch... X 2
7 loop: 39ch... X 2
8- 17 loops (10 loops) 41ch... X 2
And now one hair strand in one loop:
18-23 loops (6 loops) 41ch... X 1
(The last loop to spare.)
Tie the tails together.

ASSEMBLY

Slightly bend the ears and pin them to the hood at ~11 dc from the edge of the hood and
on 5,6,7 rows counting from the top seam. Carefully sew on the ear with fine stitches in the
front and back.

13
Place some filler inside the horn, pin it in the center ~ 5 dc from the edge of the hood. Sew
with one strand of yellow yarn in tiny stitches.

Pin the beginning of the first two strands very close to the base of the horn. Pin the rest of
the mane in the middle of the hood, not pulling hard so as not to deform the hood. Sew with
small stitches with a piece of milk yarn. Hide all tails.
Work the bottom of sleeves with one round of sc violet yarn. Make clean fastening off and
hide the tail.

14
Take a long piece of lemon yellow cotton yarn~ 80 cm. Fold it in half and make a lacing on
the cut of the jumpsuit. Leave the long ends of the threads and tie the ends of the knots.

The mane is heavy, so it pulls the hood down from the doll's head. To secure it, you can
stitch the hood and the doll's hair together with a piece of yellow-blue-purple yarn and tie with
a bow.
The mane curls a lot, so you can gently wet the strands and straighten them out a bit.

15
SHOE (make 2)

Light violet yarn

Lemon yellow cotton thread
Hooks 2mm and 1mm

Make chain of 8, then:

Round 1: 6 sc , inc3, 5sc, inc (16 sts)

R6: 8sc, dec, 4sc, dec, 12sc (26 sts)
R7: 8sc, dec, 3sc, dec, 8sc, dec, sc (23 sts) + 2sl st.

Use lemon yellow cotton thread and hook 1mm crochet the edge of the shoe with sc. Tie the
tails and hide them in the edge. Then make 2 stars for decoration.

16

Do into magic ring: sl st, (3ch, sl st in 2nd ch, sc in 3rd ch, sc) X 5.

Tighten and tie both tails together. Pull the tails through the adjacent holes on the toe of the
shoe. Tie them tightly together inside.
