Sewing the head

• firstly the pumpkin head is ready to be closed on top. Close the gap through the highest stitches on
the outside of the edge. Then tighten the thread:

1
• fold the piece in half, wrong side out if you have a favourite side. Sew it together. Don’t cut the
yarn tail after sewing!

• turn the work on the outside and stuff. Close the gap through the highest stitches on the outside of
the edge. Then tighten the thread and knot it:

Mr.Pumpkinz’s Face Decoration

• sew the eyes-beads;
• nose embroidery: use the same yarn as you use for crocheting the head. Fix the thread in
the spot where the nose should be, stitch over as many times as needed:

2
• eyelid decoration: use an embroidery thread (choose thread color the closest to the yarn color as
possible): make diagonal stitches above the eye:

• mouth decoration: fix the thread on sides of the smile (photo “a”), then make cross stitches
catching the thread in several places to shape the smile:

3
For Mrs. Pumpkinz Face Decoration: sew the eyes-beads and embroider the nose

• to finish the lovely pumpkin head, sew the stem with invisible seam:

Sew the details

• sew the arms:

• sew the head to the body, use invisible stitch:

4
Crochet the dungarees

The dungarees is worked flat in rows back loop only. After each row you do a one chain stitch and
then turn. The first stitch of each next row you do in the second chain from the hook.

Make 13 ch stitches

Then crochet along the top:
row 1: work through both loops: shift (make alternation) to the end of the row (sc, dec):

row 2: BLO: sc till the end of the row:

front wrong

turning rows

Define visually on the front of the trousers the central 9 stitches
