Blankie How To

21) Cut ans seal ribbon edges with ligter to avoid them to rag with the use.

22) Lay the blanket, fold in half the ribbon and pin it in the middle of the left edge.
Dispose all pieces as shown here, fold in half wings and pin them in place.
15
23) Use this distances guide to place pieces in the correct position.
Sew them by hand with matching sewing thread and invisible stitch.

16
24) Here you can appreciate the wings, pin them at the top edge.

25) Sew them at the top edge and all across the middle line, so they will still open.
17
26) Sew feet only in the top edge to maintain them floating.

27) Place the black cord of chains on top of the white eyes and sew it!
18
28) Turn around blankie.

29) Take bottom edge and fold it to the middle.

19
30) Take top edge and fold it to the middle too.

31) Roll it!

20
32) Turn it around, and extend both parts of the lace to each side.

33) Cut strands of violet yarn to make owl´s horns.

21
34) Fold in half strands, insert hook where will add the right ear.
Pass yarn through the blanket as shown here.

35) Push them through the loop and cut excess.

22
36) Take top edge and fold it to the middle too.

37) Make a lace to secure it all and finish!
