We share the pattern for you for free, but if you want to appreciate our work, we will be very pleased if
you donate to Ewa - our friend's daughter, who, due to complications during childbirth, needs specialist
care. You can find her story and a link to donations here:

Materials:
KOKONEK (50% cotton/50% acrylic) – about 200 m , 3 threads ≈ 40 g.
- without single crochets around the metal ring
crochet hook 2,5 mm
hoop 40 cm
tapestry needle
markers or sewing pins (optionally)

Remember that the size of the metal ring may slightly change depending on how tight you crocheting. If you choose
a 0.5 mm larger crochet hook, the hoop diameter should be approximately 5 cm larger.

How to read the chart:

For ease of reading, the chart is divided into three colors. Up to the fifth row it is drawn completely.
From the sixth row it has been shortened and we read it according to the chart below.
We start by making 4 chain stitches and closing them with a slip stitch (or you can start with a magic
ring). We make the first row around the initial circle.
The red arrow (1) indicates the start of the row. These are chain stitches or slip stitches. If you are
unsure how to start a row, see the written description on pages 10-16.

The black arrow (2) shows the direction of reading the chart. We work all the time on the right side of
the mandala. Do not turn your work.
The pink arrow (3) indicates the stitch with which you finish the row. For ease of use, it has also been
marked in pink in the chart.

Row 4 – back post single crochet: Single crochet made in 2 chain spaces from two rows
below:

Slip stitch from the back – pull out the crochet hook and insert it into the loop from the back. Place a
thread on the crochet hook and pull it through the loop.
Mandalove Circle by SisHomemade |6

Front post triple treble crochet make into the five chain space – first Fptrtr is done by going backwards (photos 1-3), the next one is done forward
(photo 4). After taking the Fptrtr forward, tilt it slightly and make double crochet behind it, in the place indicated by the needle (photo 5).

1 front post treble crochet and 2 front post triple treble crochets together – yarn over 4x, put the crochet hook in the place indicated by the needle
(photo 1), [yarn over and pull through 2 loops on the crochet]*4 – 2 loops remain on the crochet hook. Yarn over 2x, put the crochet hook in the place
indicated by the needle (photo 2), [yarn over and pull through 2 loops on the crochet]*2– 3 loops remain on the crochet hook. Yarn over 4x, put the
crochet hook in the place indicated by the needle (photo 3), [yarn over and pull through 2 loops on the crochet]*4 – 4 loops remain on the crochet hook.
Yarn over and pull through all loops on the crochet.

Attaching the mandala to the hoop – if you don't know how to attach the mandala on the hoop, you can first make a trial by stretching it with pins or markers.

If you want to work the hoop with single crochets or to wrap it with yarn, make a mandala up to row 22. The stretched mandala must touch the hoop. If you are
wrapping the hoop with yarn before attaching the mandala, divide it into 16 parts (counting without optional markers) and mark, for example, with a felt-tip pen or a
piece of tape, where you will catch the points marked on the chart.

If you want to attach the mandala to the hoop by making the final row, stretch it tight and check how close it is to the hoop. If it is about 1 cm or you can put it on
using markers, choose the first way. The first photo shows the mandala without optional attaching points, the second photo (courtesy of Kasia from Białe Szydełko)
shows the mandala attached in all places.
Mandalove Circle by SisHomemade |8

I – mandala as close to the hoop as possible:

In the places marked on the chart, after making a single crochet or post double crochet, move the thread to the back of the hoop and the crochet hook
to the front (photo 1), make a slip stitch (photo 2) and stretch the thread. Then move the thread back over the hoop (photo. 3), make one more slip
stitch (photo 4) and tighten the thread again. Then work chain stitches according to chart.

II – mandala away from the hoop:

In the places marked on the chart, after making a single crochet or post double crochet, make a few chain stitches - if the hoop is away e.g. 3 cm from
mandala, make a 6 cm chain - and wrap it around the hoop (photo 1), make a slip stitch (Fig. 2-3) and tighten the thread. Then work chain stitches
according to chart.

The chart

Attention! – finishing rows: 9, 10, 11 and 18, slip stitch

we do by inserting the crochet hook from the back.
