Protective Equipment) of the client and the nail technicians.
Personal Protective Equipment consists of garments designed to protect the wearer’s
body from injury or chemicals or for job-related occupational safety and health purposes. There
is PPE allotted for the clients and there is PPE allotted for the nail Technicians

protect the hands. Beauticians, Manicurists,
Pedicurists

Headband It is used to absorb Clients; Nail technicians,

sweat and keep the Beauticians, Manicurists,
hair from falling to the Pedicurists
face while doing nail
care and beauty care
services.
Laboratory Gown It is a piece of clothing Nail technicians,
worn in laboratories to Beauticians, Manicurists,
protect the clothes Pedicurists
and body from any
exposure from
chemicals.

Mob Cap/Shower It is a cap worn to Clients; Nail technicians,

Cap/ Hair Net avoid hair from falling Beauticians, Manicurists,
on the face while Pedicurists
performing the
services.
Smock Gown It is a loose cloak or Clients
robe used to protect
the clothes and the
body from any dirt or
stains.
Scrub Suit It is a loose-fitting, Nail technicians,
