Alan Miltz is director of Pearl Financial Services Pty Ltd and Managing Director of Pearl Business Improvement Division. Alan commenced his business career as a Chartered Accountant in South Africa but moved to Australia in the late eighties to help set up a major retail brand. Recognising very early that businesses didnt speak the same language as Banks, he set himself the audacious goal of changing this. He founded a company called Inmatrix, which became an internationally renowned financial analysis software company providing analysis software to over 300 banks worldwide. Today, Alans focus is on the implementation of best practices in credit and financial management and he is invited around the world to deliver his insights in this regard. Alan has worked with a wide range companies and banks globally. Banking clients include ANZ, National Australia Bank, Bendigo Bank, Maybank, Bangkok Bank and Royal Bank of Canada. He has also completed in excess of 200 business plans for major public companies and large private enterprises. He is involved in the training of senior management in industry and banks. In 2000 Alan Miltz was voted best new speaker in Australia for The Executive Connection (a CEO forum), lecturing on Improving Business Performance and Key Business Performance Indicators. Alan has been a keynote speaker at numerous international CEO events focusing on improving business performance. Alan is a passionate family man and whilst he spends up to 6 months of every year traveling he relishes the chance to rush home to spend quality time with his wife and son. He is a sports fanatic with a particular passion for Manchester United, IPL Cricket and conflicting attraction to the Springboks of his heritage and the Wallabies of his chosen home.
