Dance Marathon is a 6 to 36 hour
standing/dancing event that celebrates the
fundraising efforts of college students
nationwide for Childrens Miracle Network
Hospitals. It is the largest student-run
fundraiser and philanthropy project in the
nation.
Dance Marathon at The University of
Findlay is hosted by Circle K International,
an on-campus service organization that
promotes volunteering, service, and
leadership among college students. Circle
Ks Dance Marathon at The University of
Findlay is entering its 4
th
year on-campus,
and this year will be the best one yet! Our
event is 8 hours long and will take place on
Saturday, November 23
rd
from 12:00 p.m.
to 8:00 p.m. at the Student Recreation
Center (Kohler, FRC).
Our goal is to raise $5,000 this year
for Northwest Ohios Childrens Miracle
Network Hospital Mercy Childrens
Hospital in Toledo, OH.

Childrens Miracle Network Hospitals
Childrens Miracle Network Hospitals is a
collection of 170 Childrens Hospitals across the
United States and Canada. The money raised
helps to support research and training, purchase
equipment, and pay for uncompensated care, all
in support of the mission to save and improve the
lives of as many children as possible.
Mercy Childrens Hospital
Mercy Childrens Hospital is a part of Mercy St.
Vincent Medical Center in Toledo, OH. This childrens
hospital is special because they do not turn families
away due to inability to pay. This is why the funds
raised by Dance Marathon are so important.
Dance Marathon Nationwide
Dance Marathon takes place at over 150 colleges
and universities nationwide. It is the largest
student-run philanthropy project in the country,
and it began at Indiana University in 1991 after
the death of Ryan White, an AIDS patient.
Students raise money all year long for their local
Childrens Miracle Network Hospital, and cap off
their efforts with a standing/dancing event.
Dance Marathon at UF
Dance Marathon at The University of Findlay is entering its

year. Last year, Dance Marathon at UF raised over
$2,000 for Mercy Childrens Hospital. This year we are well
on our way of surpassing our goal of raising $5,000. Please
