For the recent years, many issues regarding the end of the world arose. Some
said that it is written in the bible, others have scientific explanation. But how can
we really know if the end is near? What are we going to do if were living on the
END DAY?
End day is a documentary film produced by BBC. It is to enlighten people about
the possible catastrophes that will happen to Earth in a span of 24 hours or less.
They depicted several causes and its effects to the Earth and to the daily lives of
the people.
This documentary film is a good way of communicating to people about how
this world is changing very rapidly that we already did not take into
consideration the adverse effects of the innovations and technology to the
environment. This film shows somehow irrelevant causes of disasters but the
effects would be similar and maybe worst. Mega tsunami, killer asteroid, global
pandemic and strange matter are the catastrophe illustrated by the film. These
can happen if we continue to set aside the environment in the changing world
today. By the simple act of waste disposal to the enormous industrial discharge
even the new technologies that uses hazardous chemicals, all of it may cause
similar disaster in the film or even worse than we can imagine.
