years to become established
- shoreline tends to be more distinct
and made of rocks and stones
- usually about the size of 4 football
elds (NFL size)
- usually about 0.1 0.6 metres deep
- water comes into constructed
wetland through inlet pipes
- an outlet pipe drains water from the
constructed wetland into the river
after a heavy storm
- initially have much less diversity,
but generally increases
