Individualization I instinctively observe each persons style, motivation,
thinking process, and how he/she builds relationships. Because I am a keen
observer of other peoples strengths, I can draw out the best in them. I can
turn this into a strength by assigning appropriate jobs/tasks for people who
have the most capability to accomplish them.
Developer I see potential in people and see them as works in progress, that
no one is fully formed. To make this into a strength, I can be a motivator, as I
can challenge people and help them experience success. Combined with
individualization, I can bring out the best in each person.
Harmony I look for areas of agreement, and see arguments and conflict as
unproductive. I try to reduce conflict as much as possible, and seek
compromise from both sides if they cannot agree on one issue. I can turn this
into a strength by acting as a group mediator, keeping people focused and
acting as a unit, instead of in constant disagreement.
Restorative I like to solve problems, both familiar and unfamiliar. I enjoy
when I see someone achieve their true potential, or a group achieves its goal,
especially if I know that I was part of the solution to their problems. I can turn
this into a strength by acting as a proofreader/editor to classmates who need
help with their papers, as I am decent with grammar.
Connectedness I believe and am sure that things happen for a reason. Ive
always seen myself as part of a bigger group that is working towards a
common goal, and I gain confidence in knowing that I am not alone. This ties
in to my strength in harmony because I see that exploiting others will result in
exploiting ourselves. I also have a strong faith, and it sustains me when I face
lifes problems. This is a strength for me because I worry less about things
when I know I have done my part, and that my faith gives me genuine concern
for other people.
