Steps :
1. Brainstorming session. Teacher gives example in present simple, I talk to my sister everyday
and lead in to past tense, Yesterday, I talked to my sister.
2. Teacher draws pupils attention to the list of words in the textbook.
3. Teacher draws pupils attention to the Grammar note given.
4. Teacher introduces the past simple of irregular verbs.
5. Pupils practice the past simple of irregular verbs.
6. Pupils answer extended activity provided by the teacher.
7. Teacher recap the lesson of the day with pupils.
