CT STUDY OF HEAD
Infratentorial
Cerebellopontine angle and prepontine cisterns are seen normally.
Fourth ventricle is normal in size and midline in location.
Cerebellar parenchyma and brain stem appears to be normal.
Supratentorial
Hypodense areas are seen in left basal ganglia and parietal region. No
evidence of any fresh bleed is seen.
Basal cisterns are clear.
Third and both lateral ventricles are normal in size .
No midline shift is seen.
OPINION:
ACUTE LEFT BASAL GANGLIA AND PARIETAL INFARCTS.
Clinical correlation is necessary.
