SUMIKURA: BUILDING TRADING NAME FOR COMMUNITY

A year after joining the WTO, electronic goods market in general and refrigeration
market in particular not only prospers because more trade new, good quality but also has
cheaper price. Typically, Sumikura, a trade name producing air conditioner has created a
good impression after a year successfully joined and building trade name in Vietnamese
market. To enhance its competitiveness in the upcoming period, the company will invest
in building the large-scale factories, implementing many programs towards community
activities simultaneously.

In the end of 2006, refrigeration market Vietnam has more vibrant with the presence of
brand name Sumikura - a Apollo Group's product joined venture with Sumifuji (Japan)
and their products are manufactured in Malaysia. Mr. Ngo Quoc Khai, board chairman of
Huy Nguyen company said, with the motto "building a sustainable and long-term
business strategy, and always paying attention to customer care considerately", the
company has been very successful in bringing products to Sumikuras Vietnamese
consumers. In fact, a year after penetrating the Vietnam market; from residential to
industrial market, the company has supplied over 15000 air conditioner and other
products, building distribution agents across the country simultaneously.

Explaining for making Sumikuras penetration become successfully in Vietnam market,
Mr. Khai said, "along with the application ISO 9001 in warranty service and customer
care, we have carefully studied psychology and consumer habits of Vietnam before
putting products into Vietnam. Therefore, any new products are brought to market are
attracting the attention of numerous consumers.
