Ladies and gentlemen!

Today, Im very delighted to introduce to you one of the biggest fast food empires in the
world. Its Burger King.

First of all, we have a look back their history and I will bring to you some main point of
their history.

Burger King was established by James McLamore and David Edgerton and First store
opened in Jacksonville, Florida 1954. In 1957, they introduced their famous product The
Whopper Sandwich. Next, in 1959, they began franchising their restaurants. They opened
first oversea restaurant in 1963 at Puerto Rico and many more stores soon followed.
There was a big change in 1967 when Burger King was purchased by Pillsbury
Corporation. In 1975, they introduced another famous product Drive-thru Windows.
They updated the logos and restaurant system in 1998 and in 2007 they have the 50
th

anniversary of the Whopper sandwich.

In October 2011, Burger King launched the first store in HCM city and two restaurants in
Da Nang and TSN airport. Burger King Collaborated with Canh Dieu Xanh Company
and now they have a total of 21 stores in VN and promises to be biggest fast food chain.

Why do I say Burger King is one of the biggest fast food empires in the world? Over 11
million guests visit BURGER KING restaurants and they are served with the high-
quality, great-tasting, affordable food. Burger King is the second largest hamburger chain
in the world with the Premium ingredients, signature recipes, and family-friendly.
