There is a vacancy for a Parent Governor at Parklands. I am ritin! to ask for nominations from

Parent !overnors "lay an increasin!ly im"ortant role in school life. They are re#$ired to s$""ort the
school in movin! forard% attend re!$lar meetin!s ith the leadershi" team% eval$ate the
"erformance of the school and "artici"ate in meetin!s ith a!encies s$ch as Ofsted.

Parent !overnors m$st be available to attend meetin! hich take "lace a""ro&imately half termly.
'eetin!s be!in at 4"m and are $s$ally held on T$esdays.
The ability to inter"ret data and statistics or e&"erience of b$siness or marketin! o$ld offer an
advanta!e to the school.

e&"ected to contin$e to develo" their skills by attendin! trainin! events arran!ed by the local
a$thority and school staff.
