Wireless Configuration for Windows 8 & 8.1

Configuring the Connection
Right click on the Wireless Network Connection icon on the right of the Task
Bar, then click Open Network and Sharing Center.



Click on Set up a new connection or network.












Click on Manually connect to a wireless network.


Click Next.

Enter information as follow.


Click Next.


Click on Change connection settings.



Ensure that the Connect automatically when this network is in range tick
o! are checked.




Click on the Security ta.


Click the "Settings" utton ne!t to "Microsoft: Protected !P "P!P#".
















#ntick the $erify the ser%er&s identity 'y %alidating the certificate o!.


Ensure that the na'le (ast Reconnect tick o! are checked.
Click Configure)*

#ntick the !utomatically use my Windows logon name and password "and
domain if any# o!.






Ensure that the Remem'er my credentials for this connection each time
+&m logged on tick o! are checked. Click the "!d%anced settings.



$ake sure Specify authentication mode is checked and set to ,ser
authentication, then click Sa%e credentials.


Enter %our ,SM email account and password, then click O-.
