Requirements

The corporate "gue st" ne twork nam e
The gue st pass (a te x t "k e y")

Connecting
Using your gue st pass to conne ct re quire s a se rie s of two proce dure s: (1) conne cting your PC to the com pany "gue st"
ne twork , the n (2) logging in as a qualifie d gue st.

Finding the Wireless "Guest" Network

1 O n your PC /W indows de sk top, che ck the syste m tray for a W ire le ss C onne ction icon (the tool tip re ads "W ire le ss
Ne twork C onne ction/[nam e ]").

2 R ight-click this icon and choose View A vailable Wireless Networks.

3 W he n the W ire le ss Ne twork C onne ction window appe ars, the "gue st" W LAN will be liste d.

4 Se le ct the W LAN "gue st" ne twork (various "ne ighbor ne ts" m ay also be liste d) and click Connect.

5 If a W ire le ss Ne twork C onne ction confirm ation dialog box ask s you to confirm "conne cting to an unse cure d ne twork ",
click Connect A nyway.

A conne ction status dialog appe ars, while a ne twork addre ss is obtaine d and initial conne ction e stablishe d.

6 W he n the W ire le ss Ne twork C onne ction window displays "Connected", you can close this window and proce e d to the
ne x t proce dure .

Logging into the Network as a Guest

1 Start a we b browse r and try to conne ct to any valid Inte rne t site . The wire le ss ne twork login page autom atically
appe ars.

2 Se le ct "I'm a Gue st and would lik e to acce ss the Inte rne t" and the n click Next.

3 W he n the Unle ashe d W e bUI "Gue st Pass" page appe ars, e nte r the te x t of your gue st pass k e y (by typing or pasting)
and click Login.

W he n the browse r displays a Unle ashe d W e bUI "Authe nticate d" page , your conne ction is active .

4 You can now che ck your pe rsonal e m ail and browse the W e b.

Important
W ith a gue st pass, you have acce ss to the inte rne t and W orld W ide W e b, but you cannot use any se rvice s such as file
sharing, intrane ts, corporate e m ail or printe rs. If the se se rvice s are ne e de d, have your com pany liaison/contact work with the
IT de partm e nt to se t you up with full use r acce ss to the se cure ne twork .
