In July I wrote to the Prime Minister about the controversial Big Society Network charity which was found to have received preferential treatment and wasted public money. This is his response.

17October 2014 THE PRIME MINISTER J"<-- L : : : > ~ - - . , Thank you for your letter of23 J uly. The National Audit Office has thoroughly investigated the issues you raised and found no evidence of wrongdoing. Since May 2010 volunteering is up and giving to charity is up. We have also sustained overall volunteering at the levels seen during London 2012. We have seen 100,000 young people graduate from the National Citizen Service, the world's first social investment bank, more social impact bonds created than in the rest of the world put together, public service mutuals increased tenfold and the largest ever community asset transfer inUK history. This Government's pioneering work to support communities is continuing to show real returns. Ms LisaNandy MP
