Option 1: Day of the Dead > recipe
Bake day of the dead bread: (each person must turn in a paragraph)
a. Send me a photo of you making day of the dead bread at the email above!
b. Write a 50 word paragraph about the experience.

Option 2:
Create a Drawing or Painting depicting someone you want to remember for Day of the Dead.
a. Make sure you research other art from Mexico and fuse what you researched with your own
creation!
b. Write a 50 word paragraph about the experience.

Option 3:
Create a poem or song about the Day of the Dead or someone you want to remember for Day of
the dead.

c. Write a 50 word paragraph about why you chose this person and how you view this holiday.

Option 4: Non Day of the Dead Option

Using chapter 1A and 1B vocabulary draw a monster/creature from your imagination.
Give it the Spanish body parts.

a. Label the body parts in Spanish
b. Write 10 sentences using 1B adjectives describing the monster.
c. Write 5 sentences using the Me gusta structures from 1A and tell what the monster likes
to do.
d. Must have color.
e. Bring to class. A-day Nov. 3; B-day Nov.4
