O B J E C T I V E S
With the past four years experience in recreation management I
look to bring a renewed energy to any position I am selected for.
Through my work as a head tennis coach, guest ranch assistant
manager, and Hart Gym shift lead I have gained valuable knowledge
in both managerial and leadership skills and feel that I would like to
bring those into play in whatever capacity that I am able.

While working at Parade Rest Ranch as the assistant manager I was
involved in all aspects of the day to day workings of the ranch. I
lead a team of 20 employees, fixed minor maintenance issues,
managed our maintenance team, guided horseback rides into the

Gallatin Mts. as well as fly fishing trips, harnessed, hitched, and
drove our team of percheron draft horses with up to 18 guests on
board 2-3 times weekly, and also programmed both an adult and
youth activities program for the ranches all inclusive guests.

Administrative responsibilities also included; hiring, firing,
scheduling, solving personnel issues, working with the ranches
marketing director, advertising, taking reservations, managing the
front desk, as well as solving many of the day to day occurrences
on the ranch.




Head Tennis Coach | Sugar -Sal em Hi gh School

Spring 2012 present

As head tennis coach at Sugar-Salem High School I am in charge of
20-30 high school aged youths. I am responsible for their well-
being and education in the game of tennis over the course of a 4
month long season every school year. An assistant coach and I
teach them both skills involved in the game of tennis as well as
skills which are needed to successfully negotiate lifes many paths
such as integrity and discipline.

Part of my job was also to ensure a quality experience for all of my
players through; proper match scheduling, tournament formatting,
arrangement of proper sleeping and meal accommodations on
overnight trips, managing a budget of $3,000 dollars, hiring interns
to serve as assistant coaches, as well as the arrangement of award
banquets and other team functions.

November 2011 Present

As a lead in the Hart Gym equipment room I supervise a staff of 8
employees. Our responsibilities include; checking in guests, setting
up sports and class equipment, checking out equipment, and
monitoring the compliance level within the facility.

As the lead I guide the efforts of my individual staff members,
participate in the recruiting and hiring process, resolve guest
concerns and conflicts, keep an equipment inventory, maintain the
equipment, vault-out the till, train new employees, as well as
participate in overall workforce training.

I am also the head racket re-stringer for the equipment room and
specialize in both racquetball and tennis rackets. In this position I
maintain and string the colleges 40 + inventory of rackets as well as
stringing and maintaining guest rackets.
