THE HOUSE SYSTEM

Together Everyone Achieves More

A. The Houses / Groupings

1. Students are divided and grouped into a number of houses and are named
colors – RED Phoenix , BLUE Dragons, YELLOW Griffins

2. There will be a White House who will be the overall facilitator and overseer of
the house point system.

B. House Management System

1. A House Director to manage the whole house system


2. Three (3) House Captains (preferably the Deans)

C. GENERAL GUIDELINES
1. Each house must have representatives in every activity:
a. Houses League
i. Basketball
ii. Volleyball (Men & Women)
iii. Swimming (Men and Women)
iv. Badminton (Single & Double)
v. Chess (Male, Female)
vi. Table Tennis (Single & Double) (Male, Female
House Captain/s shall oversee all the activities of their respective
houses.
2. Deputy House Captain/s will help the house Captain to manage their
respective houses.
3. Faculty and Staff will automatically be assigned as the house heads.
4. The House Captain together with the Deputy House Captains shall assign 64
house leaders (2 students per year level per school)
5. Deputy House Captains and House Heads shall work closely with student
house leaders in the preparation, organizing, coaching for the house
activities, house competitions and battle of the houses.

D. House Point System

1. Points are achieved throughout the academic year, but broken down into
totals for the reward of “House of the Term”, at the end of each term.
2. There is a final competition at the end of the year to announce the “WINNING
HOUSE – “HOUSE OF THE YEAR”
1. Points are awarded for effort/good behavior/school representation/sports
achievement
2. House points can be earned through the following:

3. Demerit points will also be given and be deducted from the total number of
points earned in the final computation of house points.
4. The following are considered demerits if incurred by the houses / house
members.
