Proceedings:
1. The meeting was called to order by Mr. Michael R. Mejia, G7 Curriculum Chairman at 10:30 AM and
supervised by Ma’am Jovelyn Blanco and Ma’am Virginia Fregillana. It started with a short prayer
led by Sir Calvin Serafica. Shortly after the prayer, snacks were served courtesy of the new G7
Curriculum Chairman.

2. Mr. Mejia announced that the G7 fund left last term was Php 73.00 and that Mr. Gerardo R.
Bandarlipe, the former treasurer, will be providing a financial statement of the past expenses as
requested by Ma’am Virginia B. Fregillana, G7 Coordinator.

3. Mr. Mejia also reiterated the recently concluded First Quarter Earthquake Drill which was deemed
a failure because of lack of tools for communication. The rescue teams per building were named:

4. In line with the Career Guidance Week, there was a Search for Mr. and Miss Career Ambassador
representative for the Grade 7 which was held last August 1, 2019 in front of RC1. The following
winners were given certificates:

5. Mr. Mejia announced that the Intramurals for SY 2019-2020 will be on August 23, 2019 wherein a
trophy will be given to the 3rd place, 2nd place, 1st place and Champion. Each teacher was given a
copy of the different events and coaches and others. The following were also discussed in line with
Intramurals:
a. Uniform of the players will be the Milo Marathon Singlet
b. Names of players should be submitted to MAPEH teachers
c. Issuance of Parental Consent Form for players
d. Cash donations for snacks
i. Mam Blanco – Php 1, 000.00
ii. Mam Fregillana – Php, 1, 000.00
iii. Mr. Serafica – Php 500.00
iv. Mr. Oliver - Php 500.00
v. Mrs. Oliver - Php 500.00
e. The following also pledged to give cash donations and contributions for the snacks of the
players:
i. Master Teachers of different departments, i.e. (Php 500.00 each)

6. To be able to raise funds for the purchase of speaker system for the Grade 7 buildings, Mr. Mejia
thought of having a Freshman Week which was duly approved and signed by the principal. The
events for the Freshman Week will be as follows:
a. Search for Mr. and Miss Freshman 2019(popularity contest)
i. Two representatives per section (1 box for each)
ii. Minimum amount per box is Php 250.00
Penalty for non- compliance: Php 500. 00 per box
Start: August 15, 2019
1st Canvassing(by cluster): August 31, 2019
2nd and Last Canvassing(winners of each cluster): September 20, 2019
Winners of each cluster will be given 50 envelopes per contestant.
b. IG Booth
Each cluster will be having booths which will be conducted provided that the contact time
with students will not be interrupted. The IG booths will be conducted on September 16 –
29, 2019 only. The guidelines for the IG booth will be given by the chairman, Ma’am Lanna
G. Cariño.
c. There will be awards given for the best in IG booth, ads and solicitations.
7. The Ma’am Claire C. Biagtan, chairman of the souvenir program, will be drafting an
agreement/contract for the payment of the Ads which are as follows:
Php 1000.00 - whole page
Php 500.00 - half page
Php 250.00 - quarter page
8. Likewise, Ma’am Minnie Gotomanga, chairman of the popularity contest for the Freshaman Week,
will also be drafting guidelines for the said event.
9. Each teacher was given a list of committees for the Freshman Week.
10. Ma’am Aurora Morales, chairman for the Solicitation committee, was recommended to help us in
raising funds for our communication system.
11. Lastly, Mr Mejia strongly suggested the following points during the meeting:
a. Replace the name “Tawi-Tawi” with Freshmen Avenue
b. The new secretary will be Ma’am Lanna G. Cariño
12. The meeting ended at exactly 12:00 noon.
