Brad Saindon just completed his fifth season


as the head coach of the Western Oregon
volleyball program. Saindon brings a wealth
of knowledge as well as the latest and most
innovative training and technical
ideas to Western Oregon. He
organizes his practices and
camps with a strong emphasis
on active play, where athletes
can apply fundamental skills
within competition. Before
leading the Wolves, Brad
served five years as head
coach for the Arizona
State University womens
volleyball team. His 27
years of collegiate coaching
is complimented by 598
international matches including
the 2000 Sydney Olympic Games, the
2002 World Championships, and the 1989
World Cup.

WHO WE ARE
Brad Saindon, head coach
12 years as head coach of University of Colorado
Head coach of the 1997-2000 Australian Womens Olympic and national volleyball teams
Two tenures with the USA Mens National Team (1989-90 and 2001-3).
Five years as head coach for the Arizona State Univ. Womens Volleyball Team
Just completed sixth year at WOU producing WOU first ever All American
Led the Wolves to its first-ever Great Northwest Athletic Conference volleyball championship with a 15-1 record

Two years coaching high school volleyball at La Jolla Country Day School in San Diego

WHAT WE OFFER

With a Masters in Motor Learning Saindon brings a wealth of knowledge as well as the most up to date training methods. His creativity
allows for effective and efficient ways of becoming a better player through the most enjoyable training method, playing! Malia is finishing
her Masters of Science in Education/ Information Technologies, providing innovative ways to train both skill technique and volleyball
concepts using the latest technology tools available. Combined with the coaching staff, the WOU volleyball players act as role models for
the campers offering opportunities to learn the game from a players perspective while demonstrating their passion for hard work.

We know that the best way for a young athlete to learn the game of volleyball is to ignite their passion for the sport and for learning! We
will balance instruction on the fundamentals with endless opportunities to play while co-developing the love of competition. The believe
we have the best role models in the WOU volleyball players, which is why we integrate them into all of the camp activities. By interacting
and playing with the WOU volleyball players, both on and off the court, this camp provides some of the best learning opportunities for
young athletes. The campers leave with a strong sense of confidence due to their evident improvement and a fun experience they will
never forget. Athletes will also receive a volleyball and camp t-shirt.

This age groups passion for the game of volleyball has already been ignited and playing volleyball is a definite passion. Many of
the campers dream of playing college volleyball and this camp is the perfect way to reaching those goals. This camp emphasizes
preparing players for higher-level competition and technical training in specific positions. Athletes will receive a total of 15 hours of
instruction and competition, where they will apply new volleyball fundamentals and skills while growing the assets needed to be a true
competitor. While at camp, players will get the chance to experience the life of a college athlete while also getting to play with them.
The access and information gained by spending 2 days with the WOU volleyball players is an invaluable experience for any player
looking to further their volleyball careers. Athletes will also receive a volleyball and camp t-shirt.

This is your chance to be seen! Our elite camp is specifically designed to prepare athletes for the highest level of high school/club
volleyball and collegiate level play. With three extra hours in the gym and accelerated intensity on the court, athletes will experience what
it is like to play at the next level. Our six-to-one coach-to-player ratio will provide athletes with the personalized instruction and insight
into collegiate preparation and competition. You will get to live with and play with the WOU volleyball team members, and experience life
on the Western Oregon University campus. Evenings will be filled with fun activities with the WOU Volleyball players. Athletes will also
receive an elite volleyball and camp t-shirt.

Persons participating in sponsored activities agree to the following that are applicable to the event.
