Quarter 1- Module 1
Integrative Art As Applied To Contemporary Art

In this module I have learned that

integrative art is the combination of
different art forms as seen in this modern
times, I have learned how to appreciate
contemporary art forms found in various
regions and I have understood its
elements and principles. I discovered the
importance of integrative art to
contemporary art including how
technology contributed to its rapid
development. I am able to know what are
the functions of contemporary art and to
have an idea on who are the
people/national artists behind the creation
of spectacular artwork arts which we still
follow and develop in this present time.

Quarter 1- Module 2

Contemporary Arts in the Philippines

 This module gives a deeper understanding
on what is the real essence of contemporary
art and what is its role in this generation. It
taught me how to appreciate all the arts
produced by artists who are living in this
twenty- first century without setting aside
the traditional art. This provides a clearer
view on how important learning this topic
for you to have an idea what are the
technicalities of contemporary arts and
what are the different forms of painting, as
well as to learn more about sculpture, and
architecture. I am so glad that I got a
chance to also experience various activities
which helps to develop my skills in
embracing contemporary arts.

Materials and Techniques of Contemporary Arts

In this module I have learned about

how art is actually made and what
are the materials behind it. I really
enjoyed this lesson because I got the
chance to discover new things which
can help in appreciating every form
of art around me. I realized that
almost everything around me is a
work of art but sometimes I failed to
recognize it because I don’t have any
idea on what it is. I am really
thankful to this module for the
knowledge it imparted to me.

Incorporate Contemporay Characteristics to one’s
creation

In this lesson I have learned how

artists incorporate the
characteristics of contemporary
arts to their artworks by
innovating and using their
creativity to come up with a
masterpiece.
Some of the artworks are
inspired by the current events in
our society which an artist can
express his/ her ideas about a
certain subject.

Quarter 1- Module 1
I found the summative test easy because its just all about elements of
art and its different technique to form an artwork. The test taught me the
importance of absorbing every topic inthe module for me to be
knowledgeable enough about the lesson.
Quarter 1- Module 2
The summative test in this module gives me a chance to identify who are
the
national artists that are known for their amazing contribution to the
Philipine Art.
I am so glad that this test sharpened my mind on knowing those people
and
appreciating their great works. Also, I am able to learn more about
poetry.

Quarter 1- Module 3
In this summative test I had the chance to identify the
evolution of art in different era. I am amazed on how art is creatively
made through different generation and how useful it is in this present
time.
Summative Test Reflection ( Quarter 2- Module 1 to 4)

Quarter 2- Module 1

- In this summative test, I am given a chance to classify

the local materials used to make an artwork and what are
the different mediums to use into different art forms.
This test made me realize that the medium used by the artist
really affects on how art is made.

Quarter 2- Module 2

- This test made me identify what are the traditional

techniques
used in an artwork particularly in carving, basketry and
weaving.
I am glad that I am able to put in my mind all of these things.

Quarter 2- Module 3

- This summative test helps me to identify the different

techniques of contemporary arts such as minimalism, found
objects, and large- scale art.

Quarter 2- Module 4

- In this summative test I had the chance to identify the

incorporate characteristics in one creation and I am able
to know
what are the different paintings and techniques used in
contemporary arts.

(Painting)

- This activity taught me on what are the

proper medium to use in making an
artwork. I am really happy to the chance
given by this activity for me to explore and
discover my creativity in painting.
 (Sculpture)

-After doing this activity I have realized that

discovering my skills in carving gives me an
enough idea to formulate different artworks.
Even though this activity was hard for me that
time, but I learned how to
value the learning I had from this activity.
 (Architecture)

- In this activity I have learned to use local

materials to make a form of architecture,
it gave me the chance to look for any
available materials that can be found in
my surroundings and creatively form it as
an artwork.
