ALAN TURINGS TEST OF
MACHINE INTELLIGENCE
There is an interrogator with two computer
terminals. One terminal is connected to a person
and another is connected to a machine with artificial
intelligence in another room.
Interrogator carries on written communication over
the two terminals.
If after 15 minutes the interrogator cant tell any
difference in communication between the two
terminals, it means the computer has demonstrated
intelligence.
