Outline of idea:

Boyfriend proposes to girlfriend in German markets

Boyfriends ex comes back into town and is seen walking through train station

Boyfriends friend works at the hotel that ex is staying at and tells him who has just
checked in

Girlfriend discusses wedding venues with her friends

Boyfriend discusses what to do about ex with friends advised to go and find her

Boyfriend goes to The Midland to find ex-girlfriend and sees her at the bar

Girlfriend enters to view The Midland as a venue for the wedding and sees boyfriend
sat at the bar with ex just as she puts her hand on his knee and thinks that something
has happened between them

Narratives: From Annabels perspective:

Annabel and her boyfriend, Ethan, have been together for 5 years. Ethan
proposes to her in the Christmas season at the Christmas markets but little
do they know that Ethans ex-girlfriend, Sadie, has come back into town a
few months later after mysteriously disappearing 6 years ago. Ollie, Ethans
friend, works at The Midland hotel and sees Sadie has checked into the
hotel, immediately ringing Ethan to tell him the news. Meanwhile, Annabel,
Lucy and Alice discuss venues for the wedding and consider going to view
The Midland. Ethan meets up with Ollie to talk about what he should do and
Ollie advises him to go find Sadie to find out what happened 6 years ago.
Ethan goes to The Midland to look for Sadie and finds her at the bar; they
sit down to talk over a drink. Annabel enters the hotel with her friend
Danielle and sees them sat together at the bar while looking around just as
Sadie places her hand on Ethans leg. Annabel is shocked and upset but
turns away before she sees Ethan push Sadies hand away. The wedding
comes into question.

Character Profiles:
Annabel: A sweet, fun and innocent blonde girl that is devoted to her boyfriend and only
cares about family and close friends.
Ethan: The bad-boy that settled down, he is still curious but is now devoted to Annabel.
Sadie: The mysterious bad girl that disappeared and has now returned to cause trouble,
but she only really wants her old life back but people have moved on.
Lucy, Alice, Danielle and Ollie: Annabels close friends that are protective and loyal.
