Synopsis of show:
The show opens with the girls of Delta Nu singing about Elle Woods's upcoming engagement to
Warner. They are all making her a card. When they go to give it to her they find out that she is at
the mall trying to find an engagement outside. They all rush there to help. She finds the perfect
dress and is off to her date with Warner.
On this date, she gets some bad news. What the show thought was a proposal was a breakup.
Warner doesn't think that Elle is serious enough for him. After a few days of getting over her
breakup, she concludes that she needs to go to Harvard with Warner to prove that she is
serious enough for him.
She has to do some serious studying to get in and spikes some big social events but eventually,
she gets what she needs to get into Harvard. She decides to go in person to give a presentation
about why Harvard needs her for their team. They agree and she is off to Harvard Law.
We got to Harvard and met some of the law students. Right away Elle Woods stands out like a
sore thumb. She doesn't know about the reading and or where her classes are and she brings
her dog everywhere.
We meet Callahan and he explains what it means to be a “good” lawyer. He also tells the class
about the internships that he offers each year. If you get one your career is guaranteed. Elle
didn’t do the reading for class and she gets thrown out of class.
Emmett, the TA in class tries to confront her but she doesn't care. After class, Elle finds out that
Warner has a new girlfriend and Elle is very confused. This is when we meet the Greek chorus.
They are the girls of Delta Nu but they are just in Elle’s head. They decided that Elle would be
taken more seriously if she dyed her hair brown.
That is where we meet Paulette. I talk her out of dying her hair brown. (this is where I sing
Ireland.) They are fast friends. At the salon, Elle overhears some of the girls planning a party.
When she asks about it they tell her it is a costume party.
The party they were talking about is not a costume party and she gets humiliated. When she
leaves she runs into Emmette. She tells him her problems and he doesn't think they are that
bad. He tells her to work hard and not give up. She decides to fight to get to the top of her class.
It takes skipping reeks and working every day so she gets the internship.
We learn about the case. Brooke Windom is accused of the murder of her old husband. She
won't tell them when she was when the murder took place. (she was getting lipo and she is a
fitness person so that would end her career) she tells Elle but makes her promise not to tell her
team.
Elle takes Emmette to get a new wardrobe to prepare for court. This is where we can start to
see that he cares for her. They get Emmette a new suit and they are off to court.
Throughout the next few scenes, we get pecks into the salon where Paulette is falling in love
with Bradon the UPS delivery man.
Back to the court, we find out that the key witness for the stats is lying about an affair that he
was having with Brooke. Elle finds out that he is gay and they prove it in court. The team
celebrates with a drink that night for a day well spent.
When everyone leaves Calihan Kisses Elle and she slaps him. He fires her on the spot. (Warner
and Vivion see this go down and Vivion feels for Elle but Warner thinks she is sleeping her way
to the top) Elle goes to tell Emmette that she got fired and he wants Elle to stay but it is not up
to her so she decides to leave.
She goes to see Paulette to say goodbye when Vivion walks in to help. They put their heads
together to solve the case for Brooke and show up Calihan. They win the case and get Calina
fired.
Cut to 3 years later and Elle graduates from the top of her class. Paulette is married with a baby
on the way and Warner and Elle get engaged. Classic happy ending,
