    What is a region?

    A region is a certain area that separates from another area.


    I noticed that states in a particular region have a lot of things in
    common such as beliefs, resources, and agriculture. Such as the
    West there are a lot of democrats. The Southeast is highly
    republican. Also a lot of states in a particular region have the
    same interests. The Midwest people are really into automobiles.
    The West has a lot of gold.
    I think geographers determine regions on where the states
    are located. I noticed how each of the regions names is where all
    the states are located. I noticed how each of the regions names is
    where all the states are found. For example, Oklahoma is in the
    south-west which is exactly where its located according to the
    compos rose. Because of the location, the states there have many
    things in common like weather, politics, and beliefs. SO they look
    at all the states bundled together and look were its located.
