Bruges is the capital of the province of

Belgium. This city is the most beau<ful for
many reasons. It has a lot of beau<ful
construc(ons like The Provinciaal Hof,
Part of the Markt, The Church of Our Lady
and many others, that makes the city
colorful and full of life. A lot of tourists
welcome the city every year to watch and
v i s i t t h e b e a u < f u l b u i l d i n g s a n d
par(cularly a canal in Bruges with the
famous Belfry in the background.
City growth is slow compared to other
places, the fact that the implementa<on of
electricity helped this to be thriving. In
order to x the trac problems that the
cars can travel making it a city have to
travel on foot took o that exercise also

I wouldnt say the town is riddled with canals in

the same way Venice or Amsterdam are, but
they linger in the backstreets and circle the
centre so that you stumble across them when
you wander o the main street.

Chocolate
Belgium is
world-famous
for chocolate
and there are
lots of
chances to
sample it in Bruges. Having been there just after Easter,
lots of independent chocolate shops were still displaying
elaborate chocolate rabbits and chicken-shaped Easter
eggs
