ISO Update
On January 28 Main Tool had its first
ISO pre-audit with TUV America.
Following the pre Audit we have a
good understanding of our gaps and a
list of action items to close before
our first and second audit. The entire
Main Tool team is committed to the
journey. The pre audit confirmed the
value of obtaining our ISO
certification. It will make us more
consistent in our every day work and it will also create a good
foundation for future growth.
New CAM Software
Early this Month Main Tool decided to invest in Gibbs Cam.
This will allow us to better
collaborate with our
customer by having the
capability to directly
import their 3D models
and simulate our processes
before machining the parts. In the long run we are hopping to
increase our productivity and reduce our cycle time.
