Symptom
When clicking on the link to Launch EPM Office Add-in from the BPC 10 Web page the following error is showed:

Error launching office client: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

Environment
SAP BusinessObjects Planning and Consolidation 10, version for SAP NETWEAVER

Reproducing the Issue

1. Open BPC 10 NW Web page
2. Click EPM Office Add-in Excel, inside Launch group

Cause
The EPM Add-in is not enabled in Excel.

Resolution
Go to Excel Options, under Add-Ins context and select Disabled Itemsfrom the Managelist box then click Gobutton.
On Disabled Items window, select the EPM Add-in for Microsoft office(fpmxlclient.shim.dll) and click enable.
You must re-log to the BPC 10 Web page after changes in Excel have been made.
