Exhibit: Geometry Test/ Trigonometry worksheet

Benchmark: Academic
Skill: Top two pieces of work in Math

During my junior year of high school, I had Mrs. Ketcham. Geometry can be a hard class but it
can also be fairly easy. We learned many different sections but trigonometry and classifying
polygons and finding their measures was the easiest for me. Im not a math person either but
these two areas were simple to me. Whenever I had trouble on a certain thing, Mrs. Ketcham
would always be very patient with me and explained how to do it in a very detailed/helpful way.
I chose these assignments because they were some of my top pieces in the class; I got very good
grades on them. While I was in geometry, we always took notes on every section in our note
packets. Two of the sections we learned were classifying polygons and trigonometry. Classifying
polygons included deciding whether it was equiangular, regular, and equilateral. You did this by
looking to see if it had any congruent or equal sides/ angles. Another thing we did in the
classifying polygons section was finding out the missing angle. You had to plug in a formula that
either had to do with interior or exterior angles. Trigonometry required finding sine, cosine, and
tangent. Trigonometry required you to find certain decimals and ratios from triangles.
While I am in college, I will need to make sure I take notes from the board and to make sure I
understand it. I need to do this so I will be ready for the exam at the end of the semester. I need
to know that I wont be perfect in college and that I might not always do the best, but I will
always need to put in my best effort. If I become a radiologist, I wont always be perfect, but I
cant fail at what Im doing. I need to be the best radiologist that I can be otherwise I could
accidently tell people the wrong thing from looking at their test results.
