-Adequate location of nozzles on vessels for maintenance, access of piping and instruments in
line with the Process and Vessel Sketches
-Adequate accessibility of operation and maintenance and that manholes, hatches, covers,
drop-out, laydown and handling areas etc. have been provided
-Adequate clearance between piping and steelwork, doors, windows, HVAC ducts, equipment,
cable trays, control consoles and fire fighting equipment
-Stress isometrics have been drawn for all critical lines and comments (if any) from stress
engineer have been incorporated
-Sections correctly cross-referenced to plans
-Special piping items are correctly labelled
-Hook-up spools are correctly indicated and limits dimensioned
-The following items are cross referenced with the piping standard drawings: Process vents and
drains, instrument connections, utility hose stations, sample points
-Compatibility with latest issue of other discipline drawings i.e. Structure, electrical,
Instrumentation, etc.
-IDC comments investigated and incorporated when agreed
-COMPANY comments investigated and included where agreed
-Comments from Master drawing included
-Completion of Hold list
